is just one of the meeting points between EIILM University
and Industry, and we believe that a stronger win-win
relationship should be built between the two stake
holders. EIILM University conducts several activities
with Industry and Corporate to work together at different
points in time, with benefits accruing to both. We
encourage students to be a part of EIILMU through
various initiatives like:
• Summer Internships:
At the end of the first and second years of their
Post graduation in Management, and during 3rd and
4th year of Engineering and other Programs, all
students are supposed to take up a two-month internship
assignment (summer training) with any organization.
This is a compulsory component of the curriculum
for the completion of the program, and is designed
to provide exposure to students the working of organizations,
as well as a chance to apply the learning at EIILM
University in solving real-world business problem's
and scientific enhancements. The benefits to both
sides are important for obligatory relationship:
Students get strong analytical capabilities for
a two-month period, without increasing their permanent
head-count. And of course, the Industry and Corporate
also get a chance to observe EIILMU students first-hand.
On the other hand, our students get the benefit
of imbibing newer trends in the industry and get
an opportunity in solving real-life problems in
the corporate world. Several organizations have
made placement offers to students through this route.
• Live Projects:
In addition to the Summer Internship program, several
organizations such as Cipla Pharmaceuticals, ICAR,
Indichem Pharmaceuticals, etc. have invited the EIILM's
talent pool for solving specific problems. Unlike
the Summer Internship, these “live projects”
can be taken up by students at any point in time.
Once again the benefits to both the organization,
as well as to students are obvious.
